Data and purposes

Browsing may generate technical data such as IP address, request time, requested page, browser details and server logs. These are used to serve the site, protect it and diagnose faults, on the basis of the legitimate interest in operating and securing the site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

If you email the Firm directly, the information you provide is used to read and answer your request and, where applicable, to take steps before a professional engagement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Please do not send sensitive or confidential details in an initial message unless agreed beforehand.

If you fill in the contact form, the information you enter (name, email, telephone if provided, practice area and message), together with the page the request is sent from and the source of the visit, is sent by the website server to the Firm’s email address and used to read and answer your request and, where applicable, to take steps before a professional engagement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). The website does not store messages in a database; to prevent abuse, the server records for a limited time the IP address the request comes from and the technical mail delivery data (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Only after you opt in through the banner may Google Analytics 4 collect usage data to measure visits and improve content. The legal basis is consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Refusing does not restrict access to the site.

Recipients and transfers

Technical data may be processed by hosting and maintenance providers as processors. If you agree to analytics, data are also shared with Google for Google Analytics 4. Google may process data outside the European Economic Area. Information on processing locations and applicable safeguards is available in Google’s documentation; the Controller can provide further details on request.

Retention

Technical logs are kept for the period needed for security and service operation, according to the hosting provider’s actual retention settings. Contact emails are kept as long as needed to handle the request and, if a professional relationship begins, in line with the Firm’s applicable obligations. Google Analytics 4 event data retention is set to 14 months. Your consent choice stays in your browser until changed or erased.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability where applicable, and object to processing by contacting the Controller. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer without affecting prior lawful processing. You may complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).
